Enjoying the Sun!

After many days of wetness, today we enjoyed cool temperatures and a very welcome sun. Knowing I had a few hours to “play” before I needed to get the lawn mowed, I headed out to explore. This was one very inviting view I welcomed.

With conditions so nice, I spent some time on the water. As almost always happens, my time on the water was peaceful and calming.

Even though the barometric pressure was steady or rising today, I did pull in a couple of bass and lost as many. Neither fish was very large, but they were fun to work in to the canoe. Both were released and swam away.

As for wildlife I photographed paper wasps on tall boneset. It was interesting to watch them attack each other over blossoms. Some of the “victim” wasps fell to the ground after the turf battles.
