A Time of Transition
Like it or not, ready or not, summer has given way to autumn. Temperatures have dropped, rain is frequent, and our options for flora and fauna observations have become more challenging. But, even with the seasonal transition there is plenty to see.
During this morning’s rain I found a couple of great blue herons, a belted kingfisher, bladder campion blossoms, and cup plants. Even in the moisture I found beauty in the morning.
