Thought Provoking and a Life Fungus
When I finally got out on the water tonight my goal was not paddling for distance or bird photography. Instead I wanted to shoot images of water dripping off my wood canoe paddle. It took a good number of photos before I had what I wanted. This one was it. Doesn’t it make you think various thoughts - like how one water drop radiates out. Or how water, like life, has magnified ripples over circumstances (yes - deep thoughts).

Before paddling I found and photographed a really interesting fungi (aren’t most interesting?). This was the first time I have seen a “Ruby Bolete” fungus. I plan to check it in the morning to see if it will be more red or decaying.
What does it mean when I am as excited about a new (life) mushroom as I am about a new flower or bird?

Finally, this was my view as I came off the water.
