Before the Rain
During my early morning exercise time I noticed a couple of wildflowers blooming not far from our house. Seeing the flowers meant I did my route twice - the first time without camera equipment, the second time with photo gear.
Both wildflower species are common to our area. It would have been easy to point my camera at the blossoms followed by a few shutter release button pushes to make ordinary images. I did that, but I also tried composing the images from different angles too, including a shooting star “high key” image.
These were my pictures recorded before the rain.

Rain or not, I did see some birds with two being photographed.

Based on TV weather forecasts, I was expecting the day to include a thunderstorm or two or more. I set up a camera to record a time lapse of the action, but all we had were waves of clouds and some rain. While not a dramatic video, this does show how busy the sky was today.
