Interesting and Cute (Overload) - and Scenic Indecisiveness
It was time again for a family member and I to spend most of a day at the great healing spot to the north. One feature there is the Peregrine Falcon program - something my family member has been following very closely on social media.
Located on the roof of a building is a hack (nest) box. This year two young peregrines were hatched. Today they were named and banded in a program open to the public (and free!).
Both birds are females and named “Ryia and Aria.”
The birds were quite vocal and likely scared. The birds were not injured during any part of the process. The pair was quickly returned to the hack box following the naming and banding program.
Following are photos from the program. What a great time considering where we were!

As we were driving north early this morning we entered a few-miles-long area of fog. When we came upon a foggy scene that included cattle, my navigator suggested the scene would make a nice picture. We turned around and I shot a couple views. My trouble is I cannot decide which I like best, so I will share the options with you.
