An Important Spike with Little Ones

Pushing out of the ground in an isolated location in Bremer County is a single “beefy” spike I believe is a green dragon plant. Around the larger spike are several smaller spikes my flower app identifies as “green dragons.” My thoughts are this is an older plant and the younger specimens are off-spring. Time will tell if any/most/all survive. (Green Dragon plants are extremely uncommon in our area.)

Along the river I found common ragworts and wild columbines. All make the outdoor world a little prettier!
