Jack and His Pollen, Fishing, Wildlife Photo Challenge

We have been watching one of our jack pine trees that appears to have gone into overdrive to produce pollen. Each day there appear to be more pollen cones that send out pollen with the wind or by touch. Soon the pollen cones will no longer be useful and will wither away.

On to a different topic… Today Kristy and I took three grandsons fishing in a pond filled with stunted bluegills. A couple of larger fish were pulled in, but many more small bluegills came in. Since the pond is a “catch and release” pond, all fish were returned to the water.

On to another topic… Last night, as I was photographing a fox squirrel watching me with my Nikon, my buddy was sharing a photo he recorded with his drone. His picture of a ‘coon watching the drone tops my squirrel watching me. Good job Jim!

At the same time I was shooting pictures of the squirrel I was also enjoying watching and listening to a warbling vireo. I hope to get closer pics as I have in the past, but for now this will do.
