November Paddle is Complete

For years, likely decades, I have successfully paddled every month of the year. From November through February the completion of my goal can get challenging. The onset of hard water (ice) varies each year and obviously when we have ice we have to find open water. There are times when I have to paddle below a dam to find open water to complete my goal.

November of 2026, until today, has been wet and windy - certainly not good paddling conditions. This morning though, the water was as smooth as glass with steam rising skyward. Conditions were ideal to paddle, so I did.

While I was on the water I shot some photos. After paddling I went fungi hunting and found some and other pictures. Those photos are included too.
