Mostly Yellow and Some at Twelve Feet

Many of today’s images feature domestic plants - giant sunflowers. Cultivated or not, there is something pretty about bright yellow flowers high in the sky.

I did measure my tallest sunflower and it is bumping 12-feet in the air. Some toppled in the wind a few weeks ago, but I still have many blossoms in the nosebleed section.

Today the sunflower heads were attracting all kinds of pollinators.
