Traveled and Fought Gnats and Skeeters
The time has come again for me to travel and hike to check a green dragon plant. From the looks of the plant, today was a good day to see the blossom in prime condition. As the photo shows, the spadix appears healthy and hopefully inviting for pollinators. (By the way, my Thermacell did not appear to make a dent in the flying critter population. I went in, found the plant, shot photos, and got out.)

Later I hung out with more gnats, skeeters, and fish. The gnats and skeeters were actively biting. Not so for the fish. Sharing the delightful bug habitat with me were a handful of bird species. I shot a few photos, but struggled to “pick the birds” out of the leaves.
