Images From the Weekend
Kristy, Layla, and I enjoyed a weekend of camping over the past few days with Scott and Doris. Our big effort was to paddle the Turkey River from Motor Mill to Garber (in Clayton County). River levels were in the 1100 range making for easy paddling. We “woo hooed” through a couple of larger riffles, but otherwise had smooth paddling.
I am going to share some of the images from the weekend in no particularly order.

After paddling nearly 13-miles I did a short hike at Osborne Nature Center. Following are pictures from that outing. Note the biggest spider I have ever seen. If my identification is correct, it was good I only pointed at it and did not challenge it. Apparently the bite is painful and could be problematic.
