Found One! (and more)

Quite often I go out with my camera without an agenda. I find and I photograph. Today though, was different. When I hit the water in my canoe I was looking for warblers - especially a prothonotary warbler.

I paddled a bit before I caught a bright yellow flash and heard a call. But, in the same area there were other yellow warblers - a common yellow throat and a yellow warbler. Over time I was able to narrow the area and eventually photographed a prothonotary warbler.

Unlike last year when I did not find a prothonotary warbler nest, I am hopeful for this year since this bird remained in the same general area. I will keep looking!

During my time on the water I did find other subjects to photograph. None were unusual. Each was enjoyable.
