Head Was Hanging But I Was Up

Had you seen me in the timber earlier today you may have thought I was a sad, maybe distraught person as I hiked with my head hanging low. Do not worry, I was watching for early spring wildflowers on my trek.

Today I spotted my “First of the Year” hepaticas in several colors. Many more will bloom eventually, but I was happy with what I found today.
