Holding Patterns?

I don’t know if it was due to yesterday’s weather, today’s weather, more open water, or something else, but the avian activity at Sweet Marsh was much subdued this morning compared to a few days ago. I still saw some birds, including my first of the year pied-billed grebe, but the activity was much less than earlier in the week. Following are some of the few images recorded at the marsh and nearby.
