So Many Questions, Few Answers - Call Me, Call Someone
Late yesterday afternoon and early evening so many people attended the visitation of a friend to many. That we were all in the same place for the same reason delivered an unspoken message - we cared.
We gathered as friends and as family - all with a common bond. Each of us was there to grieve with family and friends and to say goodbye to a friend.
Questions… there are so many questions with no answers here on earth. We can wonder, we can speculate, we can run scenarios through our thoughts, but there will be no certain answers.
To my friends and family - please, if you ever need to talk, give me a call. Reach out, I will listen. If I sense a conversation may be needed, I will instigate one. Please, if you need someone to talk to, call me or call someone. Please call.

My moments in the outdoors are my therapeutic time - a time of quiet and reflection. Since last week I have had so many thoughts and questions. Sometimes, as in today, my outdoor time was supposed to be a time to escape the bothersome thoughts. Nature photography was not working - the thoughts of the unknown remained.
Even though I photographed wildlife earlier today - several species in fact - my outing was not putting my mind at ease. Then, as I approached a “T” intersection on a gravel road and saw this scene, I knew with the press of my shutter release I captured the essence of my mood.
This picture speaks of a journey down a path filled with challenges toward unknown destinations. Isn’t that what life is all about? We really do no know our path from here to there. None of us know the challenges we may face… the unknown is there for each of us. Life is not about the destination - we will all get where we are going. It’s the journey… the challenging paths… the questions and the unknowns, the good times and the not so good times. Let’s help each other down the paths during our journeys.
