Bully Under the Feeder

This morning I watched as wild turkeys gobbled up bird seed under several feeders. From what I could tell, there was more than enough in the snow to satisfy all of the gobblers.

For some reason this bird began getting aggressive with some of the other turkeys. I even watched it hassle a starling that was trying for a seed. The bird meant business as this picture shows. I bet this kick left a bruise. What a bully!

Ample opportunities existed to shoot and share traditional turkey side views or feeding birds. I opted for different views.

I did see typical calm behavior too when this fox squirrel was enjoying a walnut in a cedar tree.
