Angles of Light

As my walk continued to the east I noticed how the soybeans were backlit. After shooting this picture, I thought how it could be used for a background for a political advertisement addressing low crop prices, or high input prices, or a farm crisis. Is this where I add “I am Kip Ladage and I approve this message?”

Minutes later, when I was heading west, the rising sun provided pleasing light for the dew-covered red clovers along the road. Who knew ordinary clover could look so pretty!

For those wondering the status of my shaggy main mushroom, it is well on its way to liquifying. Black goo is visible on the right side of the vertical stem.
